Education and Experience:
Klaaren is a member of the International Society of Acrylic Painters- Florida, Tampa Realistic Artists and the North Tampa Arts League. His Formal Art Education in New York was enriched by personal study of Masterworks in major European and US museums. Considered a leading emerging artist of the Southeast, he has exhibited his work at both group and one-man shows in the Florida and Georgia art markets. His paintings have been selected to be reproduced in several public art projects in Tampa, Florida.

Capturing "BEST OF SHOW" and other awards has enhanced his reputation as a collectable artist. Painting in acrylics, oils, watercolors or pastels, Klaaren's diverse abilities fall within the style of realistic impressionism. From natural scenes to portraits, working from his collection of personal photographs taken on his many excursions across North America, the Caribbean and Europe, his work is always genuine and appreciated.
